Hallaton Oak-Framed Extension

Northamptonshire Oak completed a seamless 4m x 4.5m extension in Hallaton, designed to blend perfectly with the property’s existing oak-framed kitchen. The clients’ main priority was that the new space looked as though it had been part of the original build, so every detail—from materials to proportions—was carefully matched and crafted.

A striking cruck blade truss forms the centrepiece of the new extension, echoing the character and heritage of the original oak work. To complete the space, engineered oak flooring was installed throughout, tying the new and old areas together with warmth and continuity.
